ODA To Everyone

Hi, my name is Mrs. Cutler.  I have taught for 36 years.  I really love to teach.  When I was a little girl I used to play school every night.  My dad's desk was my teacher's desk and my papers from the day were the papers I corrected.  Many of them could use "correcting" because I made a lot of mistakes.  I guess you don't have to be a perfect student, you just need to continue to practice.  I grew up on a farm so I played outside too.  I used to twirl a baton, jump rope, throw a ball against the barn door and catch it, ride bike, walk on homemade stilts, play with my guinea pig and make tunnels in the snow.  I also loved to make a playhouse in the trees.  This is where I developed my culinary skills.  Mud pie sprinkled with seeds was the specialty of the house.

My dad had an airplane.  That meant that I got to fly often.  It was a yellow J3 Cub much like the one you see on this page.  It flew low and slow.  We flew just above the treetops so very seldom did I get to see the "patchwork" quilt of land that you see from a high altitude.  My mom was very understanding about the airplane.  I know this because we did not have a telephone or an indoor bathroom when I was a little girl.  My mom was a saint!

I have a very fun family.  Mr. Cutler loves to play baseball, ref, farm and golf.  Our son and daughter in law are terrific people.  Colin and his business partner own a software company called Bold Method.  They develop software for military projects and my son makes it look pretty with his graphics skills.  Lacey works for Medtronic.  She is in charge of making sure heart monitors and pacemakers are working correctly.  After all, what is more important than a heart the continues to keep you alive?  Lacey probably has the most important job in our family.  Even our Grandma has one of Lacey's pacemakers!

I went to college at Northern State University and I have taken a ton of classes in the last 36 years.  I think the most important class I have taken was my National Board Certification.  Wow was that a lot of work.  I am so proud of my national certificate.  I guess the harder you work for something the more it means to you when you've met your goal.

Have a great time exploring my site.  I hope you find something you like here.

     ODA!
